Five star holiday park by the sea
For anyone who likes to spend a holiday in luxury, the French resort of Bénodet is the place. You can enjoy the beautiful beaches, a water park and wonderful countryside all around you. It’s mostly families who make their way in high season to Camping Sandaya L’Escale Saint-Gilles, close to the west coast of France, but the campsite is a very hospitable enclave, so everyone is welcome!
Location
The camping pitches are spacious and you can choose a pitch in the shade or in the sun. The campsite’s location is ideal, you can reach the beach via a footpath from the campsite. And there’s plenty to do and see in the vicinity. The views of the sea and the cliffs are beautiful, and there are plenty of lovely villages close by which you can visit. These include trips out to Bénodet, Quimper, Locronan or the artists’ village of Pont-Aven. Active days out such as canoeing and cycling on the lovely River Odet are a great idea.
Indoor and outdoor swimming pools
Whatever the weather at Camping Sandaya L’Escale Saint-Gilles, you can always take a dip in the water park with its slides and jet streams. One part of the swimming pool is actually indoors and heated. There is a shallow toddlers’ pool for the youngest guests. You can enjoy a summer drink at the bar while the children enjoy themselves playing. Take some time for yourself while on holiday and relax in the wellness room with its own indoor pool, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi and beauty centre.
Equipped with every comfort
The campsite has a lively ambiance. The entertainment team arranges fun activities for young and old. The whole family can take part in enjoyable themed evenings, with cabaret, discos and spectacular shows. Sports enthusiasts can exert themselves on the multi-sports fields with a round of table tennis or basketball.
Plenty of delicious treats!
You can enjoy leisurely meals with regional dishes in the campsite’s La Safran restaurant. The snack bar at the campsite serves rolls, pizzas, fries, hamburgers, chicken, quiches and ice cream. It also has a breakfast service with fresh bread, not forgetting of course real French croissants. The campsite shop is perfect for small items, and there is a large supermarket 2½ km away at Bénodet.
Magical island tours to the Glénan isles
Imagine you are on a tropical island and take the boat to the Glénan islands. The trip from Bénodet takes only one hour, so this is a lovely trip not only for the parents but also for their children. The youngest of them will be fascinated by these paradise islands with their white, sandy beaches.
